1. Agreement

By accessing techowire.com (the “Site”) you agree to these Terms of Use. If you do not agree, please do not use the Site. The Site is operated by Techowire (“we”, “us”).

2. What the Site is

The Site publishes editorial content about consumer technology: reviews, buying guides, comparisons and explainers. We are a publisher, not a retailer. We do not sell any product described on the Site, we do not process orders, and we are not a party to any transaction you enter into with a merchant.

3. Affiliate links

Some outbound links are affiliate links. If you buy through one, we may receive a commission at no additional cost to you. This is disclosed on every commercial page and explained in full in our Affiliate Disclosure. Merchants set their own prices, terms, warranties and return policies, and those are between you and the merchant.

4. No professional advice

Content on the Site is general information for a general audience. It is not professional, financial, legal or safety advice, and it is not a substitute for reading the manufacturer’s documentation. Product specifications change without notice; always verify the current specification, compatibility and safety information with the manufacturer or merchant before purchase or use.

5. Accuracy and availability

We take care to be accurate and to record a last-checked date on product information. Even so, the Site is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis. We do not warrant that content is complete, current or error-free, or that the Site will be uninterrupted or free of harmful components. Product availability, pricing and specifications are outside our control.

6. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• use the Site in breach of any applicable law or regulation;
• scrape, harvest or bulk-extract content or contact details;
• attempt to gain unauthorised access to the Site, its infrastructure or related systems;
• introduce malware, or interfere with the normal operation of the Site;
• reproduce substantial portions of the Site for commercial use without permission;
• misrepresent our content as your own, or as the manufacturer’s official material.

7. Intellectual property

The Site’s original text, layout, design system, logos and original imagery are owned by Techowire and protected by copyright and related rights. You may quote short excerpts with clear attribution and a link to the source page. You may not republish articles in full without written permission.

Third-party product names, brand names and trademarks referenced on the Site belong to their respective owners. They are used descriptively, to identify the products being discussed, and their use does not imply any affiliation with, endorsement by or sponsorship from those owners.

8. User submissions

If you send us a correction, suggestion or other material, you grant us a non-exclusive, royalty-free right to use it in our editorial output. You confirm that you have the right to send it and that it does not infringe anyone else’s rights. We are not obliged to publish or respond.

9. Third-party sites

The Site links to third-party websites. We do not control them and are not responsible for their content, products, security or privacy practices. Following a link is at your own risk.

10. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Techowire is not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive loss, or for loss of profit, data, or goodwill, arising from your use of the Site or from any purchase you make from a third party. Where liability cannot be excluded, it is limited to the amount you paid us to use the Site, which is nil.

Nothing in these Terms excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded, including for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for fraud.

11. Indemnity

You agree to indemnify Techowire against claims arising from your breach of these Terms or your misuse of the Site.

12. Changes

We may revise these Terms at any time. The version published on this page at the time of your visit governs your use. Continued use after a change constitutes acceptance.

13. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction in which Techowire is established, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Courts in that jurisdiction have exclusive jurisdiction, subject to any mandatory consumer protections available to you locally.
